Default Yahoo Msgr Hacked?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a BB Curve and think my Yahoo Msgr has been hacked. When I'm chatting, the recipient apparently sees odd messages while I'm typing:

"(My Username) is typing something brilliant"
"(My Username) is taking a minute to think"

and things like that. I don't have the same problem when I'm using my laptop. My service provider is Sprint. I haven't downloaded or opened any new programs or attachments. Any way to find out what's going on and / or run some sort of security scan?

Thanks.

That ust seems like a typical "user is typing" message that many IM clients use now. BBM has something similar.
You are fine.

Thanks. It's odd that it just started doing it this week. Is this some kind of setting I can change?

If there is a setting, it seems more likely that it would be on the receiver's side.

I'm not sure what you mean by not having the same problem when you're on your pc. I always can tell in messengers when the other person is typing something. It doesn't have the same cutsey messages but it's a standard feature these days. Yahoo, MSN, AOL, Facebook. They all have it.
