Default Phone not working

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

My girlfriend dropped her blackberry before Christmas and it hasnít worked since.

I have had a look at the hand set, and it turns on, the roller ball works but you cant open any files or applications/ folders.

I have tried doing a hard reset, no difference.

Does anyone have any ideas if this can be fixed?

Thanks

If it's been physically damaged it may be done for. Is it just the ball that doesn't work or the whole handset?

Default pphone not working

The phone turns on as normal, i can move around the screen with the rollerball, but I cant click on anything to open it.

I have also tried using the enter key to open files/folders but it still does not work.

Anyone have any idea if this will ever work properly again, or if it can be fixed?

Thanks

I don't think changing the trackball will correct the issue as the OP stated pressing the enter key yielded the same results.

I would suggest reloading the OS onto the device to see if that helps. I am not entirely positive it will correct your issue, but it certainly won't hurt to try.
