Default Password issue with Blackberry 6230

Please Login to Remove!

hello all, I am a long time viewer, first time poster. I am having an issue with my Blackberry 6230. I was required to put a password on my BB (to keep prying eyes off of it) and I am able to get into my BB for sync through the BB Desktop software and my password, but I cannot enter it on my device (it says invalid). Is there any way that I can wipe my device password from the Desktop manager (again I do know the password and can get into my device via the desktop software) Thank you for any help.

I think you might have to enter the password 10x incorrectly and the BB will wipe itself.

have you checked your caps lock and silly stuff like that? it seems odd that your password will alow you to sync but won't let you into your device.

For anyone searching the forums with a similar issue, here's something else you can check....if you have the password billy4 when you are typing it on the BlackBerry, make sure you are holding the ALT key for the number 4 and not just pressing the letter s
