Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know how to force Wi-Fi on the browser as first choice over the network?

Apparently you cannot default it but you can control it.

Automatic Wi-Fi Selection Mode is the default mode for BlackBerry smartphones. Automatic Wi-Fi Selection Mode allows the BlackBerry smartphone to switch automatically to an appropriate Wi-Fi network when the BlackBerry smartphone user moves through Wi-Fi coverage areas. The BlackBerry smartphone selects Wi-Fi networks based on the order on the Saved Wi-Fi Profiles list.

Manual Wi-Fi Selection Mode allows the BlackBerry smartphone user to select the Wi-Fi networks to which the BlackBerry smartphone will attempt to connect.

Options>advanced>browser. This will set browser to do that. As for everything else, the stock apps will use it automatically. Third party apps need to be programmed to use wifi

Question: A little late in the game, but... My boss is trying to use Pandora but gets the message, "Pandora must be connected with a Wi-Fi network to work." We have selected both AUTO and Wi-Fi to get it to work. But still get the same message. Could it be defaulting to our company network anyway? Or is that a browser setting we should look at? Any help making me a hero to the boss would be appreciated!!
