I am having a bit of a strange problem... I have exposed an IMAP4 service through our firewall so I can send/receive emails. However the really annoying issue I have is that whenever I read an old read email on outlook 07 it comes up on my Blackberry as a new email

I am using BBerry 8520, Outlook 2007, Small Business Server 2008 and the carrier is BT (vodafone network I believe).

This is very confusing and ends up with my BBerry being cluttered with lots of duplicated stuff.

Please can anyone point me in the direction to resolve this?
