HI all im new to this forum using a blackberry.

I currently have a blackberry bold 9000, on Vodacom (Vodafone network), I have moved to the UK. I want to use my BB and its services in the terms of pay-as-you-go, what is the best way of doing this ?

If I was to de-register my PIN what advantages would get out of this. I am the official 1st owner of the phone if that help ?

Ketz, I don't believe the VodafoneUK has a PAYGO plan for BlackBerry.

If I recall correctly, Organge does. You will need to your device unlocked for use on any carrier other than the one to which it is branded, and you will need to have the PIN released from any previous carrier if it was registered there.

Thank you for the reply to my message. The bb is alrady unlocked to accept other networks, im not too bothered about what network to go on, as long as i can use the bb services. to get the PIN released i will have to conatct Vodacom is that correct ?

Is the PIN associated with a BIS account already?
If its not, you dont need to get it released (as theres nothing to release it from)
