I've installed and am using BB Messenger on my 8700c. It works fine.

One issue.........

When I add a new contact's PIN it sends a request to that person asking them if it's okay for me to add them to my contact list. That's fine.

However, someone asked for my PIN and added me as a contact but all they see is "pending" for my name. I assume they sent the request but I have not received any sort of message or notification on my device.

Am I missing a setting or something?

If you don't have BBMessenger installed, you receive a message in your Messages app that gives you a link to download and install BBMessenger. After install, upon re-opening the message, it provides the ability to add the person. Once you have it installed though, any subsequent invitations should go directly to the BBMessenger app itself. Strange that you're not seeing anything - have the person remove you and add you again and see if anything is different.

Yeah, I already have it installed but got no message telling me that the person wanted to add me as a contact.

I'll have to find someone else to add my PIN to test it out.
