Default Attention: Possible Downtime on Monday, January 10th, 2004
I have hired a SQL expert to rebuild the entire SQL database, to cure the front page problems, as well as the second page problems.

Hopefully if all goes well, by tuesday everything will be working at optimal performance once more.

It looks like downtime may not be needed after all. Many things are being repaired without the need for downtime. Some of the extra phantom pages are now gone.
