Default address book problems

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,
I synced my mac and 9700 last night using the BB Desktop software, but something went wrong with the address book. Seems all the addresses got entered, but I cant search for them no my BB. BUT: if I go into an actual address and make any change, like put a full stop after the name, then it searches for it no problem! How wierd!

Any clues to help me with an otherwise perfect phone?
Tom

What do you mean by "a full stop after the name"?

Also have you tried a battery pull?

hi! I mean a "." (i think its called a period in USA) but thats just an example, any change to any field in the contact will then allow it to be found if searched
