Hi .. i have a 7730. I just want to know are there any Instant Messenger that work with non BES users like me?

Verichat and WebMessenger also works for non-BES, provided you are using BlackBerryOS4 with the TCP/IP features properly configured both on your device and the carrier.

On AT&T, Rogers and Nextel, this is easy, and it's doable but trickier on Cingular and T-Mobile. Not yet possible without BES/MDS on CDMA on Verizon, Sprint and Bell Mobility, and Telus.

Yes, but not directly from T-Mobile. You can install AT&T OS 4 on a T-Mobile. Don't forget you will need to call T-Mobile and ask them to add the wap.voicestream.com APN to your account (It's sometimes hard, but they are now sort of permitting it -- takes a bit of persistence -- more information at www.marky.com/tmobile)

Which version of Webmessenger should i installed for non-BES users. Version 2.1 or 2.2? I tried on both versions, doesnt work.

How does the Webmessenger know that it should use the TCP settings in the OS4.0?
