does anyone know of any class action suits against BB for the 7100g poor phone sound quality?

This is the biggest piece of junk I ever owned!

Not that I'm aware of. However I agree that most of the older GPRS 7100 series have wretched sound. Background noise is a major problem on these models.

Fortunately RIM has taken notice, and improved the sound quality on their latest devices.

However, I highly recommend the ETYMOTIC wired headset....it does a great job of improving the sound quality for both you and your caller. No background noise with this baby...

Jase88 you did not get the memo, its not audio that they have a patent on but on the plastic housing. So as long as we take the components out of it and place them in a cardboard box we should be safe, but then again I have not looked to see if cardboard boxes are patented either.

I think Microsoft has the patent on cardboard boxes. They stole it from Apple, who appropriated it from Xerox where it was originally invented at PARC.

Like NJBB said if you sue as a class action suit, you will get a $1.98 or a coupon and the lawyers will get rich and guess what you will still have a crappy phone that you cant hear out of. So what did you gain, personal satisfaction, oh my.
