Default Can't backup my bold

Please Login to Remove!

Hello

I am trying to backup my Bold, but every time it hangs giving an error message of "Unknown Error"!

Now i realsie this is not very helpful, but can anybody offer me some advice?

Usually this happens when a database has been corrupted.
Does it fail at a certain point?
Can you see the progress window to see which database it is failing on?

Usually its the Key Store but it has happened on MMS as well

One solution is to clear they key store database and see if it succeeds.
You will lose any information in that database, so I would be careful with that.
And, you could delete MMS messages from the phone to help with the other.
