Default Help switching devices

Please Login to Remove!

I've just got my hands on my Bold 9700 and am trying to switch all the data from my 9000 using the Desktop Manager and Device Switch Wizard.

All the data backs up from the 9000 and then I get I plug in the new device at the same time or do I unplug the 9000 and then plug in the new 9700? I have tried both ways but although it tries to connect I then get this message:

A fatal error has occureed while updating your device’s software. Please try again.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Try this from RIM also make sure the 3rd party apps are compatible. That can cause issues.
