I have 2 blackberries. The world edition blackberry 8830 with Verizon. This is my personal blackberry and currently syncs up to my home email (gmail) and address book on my mac computer. I have to manually sync up the address books (home mac and personal bbry). I also have the blackberry 9000 through AT&T which is work. It syncs up to work outlook and addressbook wirelessly. The obvious issue is that when I am inputting new contacts on blackberry. It doesnt sync with the other. This creates tons of hassle for me. Right now my work bbry has all my contacts. So if I could replace the contact list in the personal bbry seamlessly, or continuously that would be ideal I guess. The truth is that I don't know how good this can get, or what steps I need to take. If any one can help I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

If it's allowed by your company, install Google Sync on your work BlackBerry.
Use that to sync your address book with GMail contacts.
(It will not affect your wireless sync with Outlook)

Delete the address book on your personal BlackBerry.
Install Google Sync on your personal BlackBerry and sync from GMail contacts to your personal device.

Thanks. Part of the issue is that all of the contacts are currently in my work outlook. How does that affect your solution?

It doesn't affect my solution at all. If all of your contacts are in your work Outlook, then they should also be on your work Blackberry. The two should be in sync already.

The main point however, is does your firm allow it? You need to know and check out the rules before you give it a go. If they are paying the freight, it is their device to control as they see fit.

IMHO, if you need your personal email, contacts, calendar, etc, then use a personal device. Not worth the risk as I see it.
