Default Caller id shows previous caller info...

Please Login to Remove!

doesn't happen all the time, but it happens. I will answer a call thinking it is the caller on caller id only to find that I gave that person a different greeting than I normally would. Caller id issue is usually the previous caller.

This happens with the latest version, previous version, did not happen on original version of os. Battery pull does nothing.

Anyone have a solution for this?

TIA,

Benny

Have you called the carrier to see if they are having issues. Also check the RIM support site. There are many caller ID issues with causes and some have fixes. Maybe one will fit the pattern you are using to make calls.

Default So after three calls...

to fix with tmo support they are sending me a new device.

First call was to reprovision, resend hrt, and resend service books.

Second call was a wipe and restore.

Third call was replacement call.

tmo support is great, but you should call during normal support hours so you get a knowledgeable rep otherwise you get the late shift.

Should get new device in 3-5 days.
