Default blocking messages from 1 email account

Please Login to Remove!

I have 2 emails on my black berry- a school email and a gmail that the school email is forwarded to. Is there any way I can prevent emails from one address from showing up in my messages folder (to prevent duplicates). Or, the best case scenario, block the school emails forwarded to my gmail from showing up on my blackberry?

The gmail account sends a duplicate of the school email to my blackberry messages folder after a 15 min. delay. I want to be able to view both emails separately though.

In your blackberry, go to "email settings" and edit your gmail account by adding the filter. You have to figure out the key words for the filter tho. Once u configure this filter the particular emails wont be pushed to your blackberry, however you'll still be able to view it from computer.

hope that helps.

Log into your BIS page at T-Mobile and go to Filters for your school email account. Uncheck the box for "Forward messages to device". This way only the GMail messages will come to your inbox. Both the regular GMail messages and the school ones forwarded automatically to GMail.

The filter may be a better idea if the Gmail box gets other mail you still want.
