Hi,

Basically what happened was when I updated my blackberry software today, and installed software upgrades everything went well except for my sms folder.

All my SMS (from various contacts) were merged into one single contact. Moreover whenever I receive a text it is added to this conversation, whoever sent it.

I tried recovering my blackberry to an older set-up but it didn’t work. I also tried deleting all sms and starting back from scratch, but as soon as I receive the first sms, all the other sms following (whoever sends it) is inserted in the first sms conversation.

Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

this has been discussed in the 9700 forum.
its a bug in the OS i believe.
