My girlfriends storm 9530 is so slow and is always needing a battery pull. Ive searcued a little bit and though of clearing the event log at the menu by pulling up the keyboard and typing up some codes to bring up the evenlog but when we put it in landscape mode to show key baord. The "show keyboard" button isnt even am option when you press the blackberry button. Can someone help us. Thanks.

The Show Keyboard menu option is missing from the Home Screen of the BlackBerry Storm smartphone after upgrading to BlackBerry® Device Software version 5.0.

This is a previously reported issue that has been escalated internally to our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.

Workaround
In order to display the keyboard on the BlackBerry Storm smartphone Home Screen, perform the following:

Click Options.
Select the Screen/Keyboard menu option.
Scroll down and assign Virtual Keyboard to either the Right Side Convenience Key Opens: or Left Side Convenience Key Opens: option.
Save the changes by escaping from the Screen/Keyboard menu.
Return to the BlackBerry Storm smartphone's Home Screen.
Click either the Left or Right Side Convenience Key.
