I simply need help on knowing which applications it is okay to delete from my Blackberry 8330. To make things simple I will list all the basic applications that I have. It does not matter to me if I may want to use them in the future, all I need help on knowing is what wont effect my phone if I delete.

Blackberry Maps (I have Mapquest Beta that i use)
Browser (I use BOLT)
Email Setup Application (I already setup my email before, do I still need this?)
MemoPad (I never use this)
Sprint Music Store (I never plan on using this & never have)
Sprint Software Store (I never use this as well, I use Blackberry App World)
Tasks (I dont use this either)

Browser cannot be deleted.
email setup application cannot be deleted
Sprint Music store may be a service book push, not an installed application.

But you can delete BB maps, memopad and tasks. ( as well as any unused language, any unused games, and the Help app)

I have a service book push like that from my carrier, its called uRmusic. I will never use it so I just hide it and stick it in a random folder. Same with the game demo pushes they send me.

Non-deletable apps can be deleted using javaloader -u erase ?.cod, but I don't know of a rational argument for doing so. Hiding the icons might be wiser

There are two classes of items. The first, is the crapware service books from your provider. AT&T shoves about 30 things at you. You can delete the shortcuts, but AT&T just pushes them back out. The best way to deal with them is, as Noodle suggests, is to hide them and forget them. I create a folder called AT&T Crap, stick them in there and hide the folder.

The second class of items consists of apps that you don't or won't use. I have removed things like Brickbreaker, Tasks and Voice Dialing. There are several ways to safely remove them. I use an tool called CrackMem to remove them from the OS prior to installing it on my phone. There is also John Clark's thread on the subject.

So basically you're hiding you head in the sand, like an Ostrich. What a way to get around things!. Genius!.

Kumite-child. All you can do is hide the icons which are pushed down by your carrier. If you delete them, the carrier simply pushes them back. So hide them or move them to an usused folder.

Of course, in your case, one can't hear if their mouth is moving. You might try listening (reading thousands of posts on this forum) where so many others have recommended doing just as she has.

I think he just has it out for me because I said I would not help him anymore. I think I was the only one humouring him and providing answers to the simplest of questions and now that I've stopped and he isn't getting any headway he just wants to personally attack me. He's put me down a couple times now, I just ignore him.

I have a New BB Storm2, Verizon is my carrier...I cant stream video off of the net, when i try to download i get a file to large error. Then when I try to save it wont save ..
