My company supports BES.

I notice that when I view a sent message from the handheld, it says it was sent using "Desktop (Secure)"

Does this mean that the message was sent from the Desktop redirect?

Since I travel with my laptop I want to use BES so that I do not need to have my computer running with the desktop software. Am I missing a setting?

Just means the message came from your desktop enviroment instead of as a peer to peer message. Peer to peer being a PIN message
