Default Please help - loading applications fails

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I am trying to recover from error 507 on a T-Mobile 8220, and keep getting the attached error during the application loading stage. I tried several different releases from different carriers, and tried this on 2 laptops, same deal. ROM/erase/software stages finish successfully, and when it tries to load apps I get this error. It happens at at random times during the app install process on different apps, and when I retry it just happens again and again. Usually happens in the beginning of the app install process. When the error comes up, the screen goes dark and the device seems to cycle because later it comes back to the 507 screen.

Search for JL_cmdr and follow the instruction on reloading the OS.
Also do not load any third party apps until your sure the BB is working ok. Loading one and testing then if sure load another one will allow you to find the one causing the problem if one is.

Thanks, but I tied this. JL doesn't work on my 64bit OS, so I tried it with javaloader with the same syntax used by JL commander, and it connects and disconnects. Doesn't give an error, so I am assuming its wiped. The error on the device sometimes switches to 561 between install attempts.

I have no trouble connecting to the device, app loader/DM detects it rightaway, but app portion always fails. I am starting to think it is some kind of hardware issue.

Try to use a 32 bit pc with JL_cmdr. It's worth a try before calling it a hardware issue.
