Default Data Plan Help

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys, sorry if this is in wrong section, im new.
Well i have just bought the bold 9700 on a 30 a month contract.
I currently dont have a data plan.
The contract is with orange.
I see that have a 500mb package for 5 a month.
All i will use the internet for use of facebook and hotmail.
Would you recommend this plan or go for an unlimited option?
Thanks for any help.

You will need to add on their BlackBerry specific plan which I believe is about 5 more.

I would say 500 mb is enough, it's quite a lot for most bb users.

I am currently on a 500Mb plan myself, and mainly use my BB for Facebook, Ubertwitter, and some browsing and have never gone over. IMO, that should be more than enough for the average BB user.

Wirelessly posted (I'm a xxx35910;xxx28479; boy)

500mb is more than adequate, unless you plan on streaming music. But based on what you said your anticipated usage will be, no need to get the unlimited plan.

Concur, I'm on a 1GB plan but almost never go over 100MB.

If the unlimited plan is not much more why take a chance . I'm using about 1.5 gig a month according to the info from ATT
