I have the 8530 and am a new BB user. How do I see the entire calendar by the month or year rather than by the day? Thanks!

press the menu button while in the calendar
and go to month view

Calendar > Menu > View Month

I do not believe that there is an option to view the whole year. But in the month view, you can scroll through the months.
