I've had my bb 8310 for over a year now. My brothers just had a new curve and his icons are completely different.
Mine are like the ones in the first photo and my brothers are like the ones in the second.
Is this the way they are now? Or is it because he is on a different network? I really dont know much about bb but was kind of curious to why his look quite boring and mine are colourful and fun when mines an older phone.
If i were to get a newer bb could i still have the same icons that i have? like in the first photo? or are they the older bb.

My boyfriends cousin actually hates how his icons look (how yours look in the first photo) and wishes they were more like mine It's all about personal preference, and it's as easy to change as your theme.

So is there a way of changing them? i have looked under the theme and theres only the one for my brothers phone and i have about 5 but there all the same icons.

Yup. There are many sites that offer free themes, and some come with a charge associated. I've gotten some from the shop through the forum, BlackBerry App Store. The link is just above between "wap" and "sponsors"
