Question All ways to back up...

Please Login to Remove!

let's list all the ways to backup and restore...

too bad we can't image the exact state (like Acronis True Image can to a HD... and then restore if need be... or can we?)

I backup with:

Desktop Manager

and

BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife BBSAK: BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife – Free GUI Alternative to JL_Cmder | BerryReview.com

wish there was more - like true image

how do you backup/restore?

Thank you...

I use DTM.

I also have all contacts and calendar synced to Outlook, my preferred mode since this is the info most important to me. (And now also synced to gmail using CompanionLink.)

BES is the ultimate. It's like a constantly running backup app, always functioning in the background.

For us BIS users, Desktop Manager, both for Mac and PC, is probably the easiest in terms of both backup and restore. It's quick too. You can use it without MS Outlook if you choose.

You should try out mIQ! Syncs contacts, calendar, uploads texts and call logs, and media OTA. Plus it's free
