Question BB Email setup clarification

Please Login to Remove!

Just need to clarify the BB email setup please.

My carriers' web site says I need to register for BB email services on the BB web site (Create New Account - https://bis.eu.blackberry.com/html?brand=vodauk).

However, when a new BB is set up, the email set up process allows me to add the only email address I wish to add - a Gmail account.

Therefore, do I still need to register on the above web site or would this only need to be done if I wanted a 'me@mycarrier.blackberry.com' address?

Many thanks

The email setup on the phone, generally forgets to ask you to select a username and password for the BIS setup webpage.
The email setup is basically BIS webpage, on the phone.
If you need to change the device, create filters, edit signiture etc etc; people find its easier just doing this on the website; bigger screen etc etc.
If you've setup your email already, you have an account for that BIS webpage; you just likely don't know what your username and password is to login to it.

I see. I tried requesting my password but the message that arrived said that I do not have a username / password.

No problem. Thank you as always
