Question use of blackberry as a phone

Please Login to Remove!

is it possible to use a blackberry 7230 only as a phone without receiving e-mail and blocking also receiving e-mail?

It is on TMobile. We have 1 phone acct w/o the data option and we have the benefit of the PIM functions and a good phone.

it is possible without "changing" the hardware? only by "software"?

What exactly are you talking about?
You don't need to change any software or hardware.

Just get a voice plan from your carrier and don't get a Blackberry data plan.
(If your carrier allows it.)

Yes, absolutely. Even without BB account setup, you still have voice and SMS and can still sync outlook (except email) with your PC by USB cable. Been doing it for months with my 7280's

I'm afraid that in Italy it isn't possible to have a voice plan different from a Blackberry data plan
I would like to avoid an automatic search for e-mail and if possible I would like to decide when and if I want to receive e-mails
