Default Just discovered something BETTER than push email on the BB!

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone,

I really had to share this funny discovery:

I have accidentally placed my BB close to my speakers. Now I get a static sound before an email comes through the BB.
Now I can now even faster than I am about to receive a push email notification.

I know it's a bit stupid ... but this made me smile this morning.

I have had that happen. Also, before receiving calls.

Wirelessly posted (I'm a xxx35910;xxx28479; boy)

Haha. That happens with any cell phone, not just a BB. Works for email, SMS, voice/data, etc. Has something to do with the signals the device receives being amplified by the speaker.

BTW, you can also learn about an incoming call before the phone actually rings. If the phone is in standby or the screen is off, the screen will light up, the data arrows will flash, and there's usually a slight delay before the ringtone kicks in.

Enjoy your BB. =)
