A customer of mine just purchased a new BB (sorry dont have the model handy), and wanted it to sync with his BPS just like the old phone did. So i deleted the user from the BPS console, re-created it, set an activation password, enterprise activated the phone (successfully), and it completed its first sync. BPS shows everything is normal for this new device.
The problem is, it will not display new mail sent from anyone other than the user (to himself) -- but everything else syncs just fine.
- Calendar items and contacts -- no problem syncing.
- I can send email from the phone to anyone and it gets delivered.
- If the user sends an email from Outlook on his desktop, it shows up on the phone as a sent email.
- If I send an email from either the desktop or the phone back to myself, it shows up on the phone (but thats the only time it will show a new mail on the phone).
I've deleted and recreated the user, attempted sync on the BPS server with a cable and over the air, power cycled (and pulled the battery) on the phone numerous times, and verfied all the phone-side email settings are correct.
