I have the 9500, I as wondering if there was anyway I could download an application from pc then install it onto my 9500 through the desktop manager.

That's up to the developer of the app.
They'd need to offer you a Desktop install package containing the .alx and .cod files for the app.

You can't do what you want through BlackBerry App World. It would be handled on an individual app basis.

Name me all the free apps that I can install through my desktop.

if the file is has an .alx and a .cod, then yes, you can install it using DM. However if the file is a .jad (like most of them are) then you can install it using BBSAK through the PC.
