Default Viewing "non-mobile sites"

Please Login to Remove!

How can I view a site on the blackberry browser in the "regular site" version instead of the forced "mobile" version? There are some sites where I want to see the normal page and not the mobile page.

Thank you! (And sorry if this has been answered in another thread -- havent been able to find the answer)

Open menu, select page view. To go back again, open menu, select column view.

If you're trying to avoid being served a mobile/WAP site, you can change your emulation to Firefox or IE.

You're right, that's probably what the OP meant.

In my experience with sites that re-directed to the mobile page regardless, it didn't matter with emulation. However, many of those are now providing a link to go to the full web site.

Thanks for the responses thus far. Changing emulation mode doesnt seem to help. I have not tried getting "BOLT" yet, though.

Looking forward to any other ideas.

And yes, (more technically) I am "trying to avoid being served a mobile/WAP site"

Wirelessly posted

You could also try opera mini. Don't know if it will do for you, but it's another alternative to try.

THANK YOU ALL! I downloaded Bolt (free), and worked like a charm. I went to a site that normally is detected when using a mobile browser, yet it does not redirect me to the mobile site.
