my 3 week old 9700 doesnt seem to charge... is it possible to be a faulty charger connection rather than the battery?

Try charging via the USB cable in a computer and/or a wall charger.

If Steve086's suggestion does not work, bring it back and the carrier or store should replace it.

will try the usb cable and let you knwo what it does.
but i think the connection in the phone might be loose or something, rahter than the charger being faulty.
can anything be done about it if it is?

Their return policy is very criptic but it looks like they do have a method.
