My problem is with my BB Curve

I took pics of my brother at his bedside when he passed away this morning. So, you can imagine how sensitive my problem is.

I tried to move the images from my BB to my PC. I created a new folder and moved each picture one-by-one to the folder. You would think that the folder would have moved to my PC...but they did not show up.

My camera icon has disappeared from my BB and so have the images. I tried an image recovery software and they were nowhere to be found.

Can someone help me with this if it's possible?

These pics are very precious to me due to the circumstances.

Thank you in advance.

Do you have some more info. When you say you moved them, was your BB connected to your PC or did you just move them to another folder on your BB? Where you using DM or Mass Storage Mode?

Wirelessly posted (8520 (5.0.0.411))

If you have mass storage mode enabled, connect your device to the computer, and on your computer, browse to my computer and there should be a drive called BlackBerry. Double click on it and then blackberry/photos. Your photos should be there hopefully. Also, if the camera icon has disappeared, does it appear then you go onto your applications screen and press menu/show all?

To Zerog: My BB was connected to my PC when I did this. I believe I created the folder within the BB and then transfer them to "my documents" folder on my PC...but not to be found.

To Sytner: I'll have to check on "mass storage enabled" although I don't know what it is.

I just found my camera icon in the "applications" icon in the menu. But why did it disappear as it's own separate icon?
