I've read through a number of questions and answers on these Forums regarding this problem. I've already tried all the fixes (Bedside Mode, customizing alerts, etc.), and am pretty sure this is an unrelated problem. It worked fine for months, then just suddently stopped giving me a red LED light when I received emails. Somewhere along the line I read that this could be a software issue. I'm pretty much at my wit's end so any help you provide would be greatly appreciated. I have the Blackberry Tour 9630. Again, my thanks.

Have you pulled the battery while the Tour is on? After trying that you can go into Profiles and check the settings for the Profile you're currently using and ensure LED is set to "on".

I appreciate the suggestion. I did try a battery pull, but have actually found out since then what the problem was (from Blackberry technical support). The profile I had chosen, phone calls only, automatically disables the red notification light, and it can not be overriden. The fix was to create a custom profile, placing ever alert on silent except the phone, but enabling the notification light. It took about 15 actions, but is now saved as a custom profile. Again, thanks for your suggestion and hopefully my experience with this will help someone else!
