Default BB 9700 backup restore issues

Please Login to Remove!

taken a backup of blackberry 9700 but when restoring the backup, all contents on the backup are not restoring.
especially all mails on the gmail folder has been missing. how to get back the mails to the gmail folder.
all the are in the server.
after taking the backup i had received new mail but after restoring the backup that mails also gone.

Welcome to the forums.

When you restore a backup file, it will overwrite anything that's been received after the backup was created.

ok. at the time of taking back up there was some mails (conversations) on the gmail folder that also lost after restoring the backup. i can see the gmail contents on the backup ipd file using ABC Amber BlackBerry Converter.

Are they showing in your Messages folder? Is what you see in the Messages database?

Try doing an advanced restore of the database you see the email in.

Backup/Restore > Advanced.
