Default Use two separate BES systems??

Does anyone know whether one can used two separate BES systems for one BB device? I currently have access to a BES 3.6 system and would like to use the 4.0 system (through either myblueberry or mailstreet) for my wirelessly syncing my tasks, contacts and jpeg access. I would use the 3.6 for my email and wireless calender??

thanks,

Warner

I can answer part of this. I use two BES's. I have a work 3.6 server and a personal 4.0 server. E-mail is wirelessly synced with both. Now this is the part that gets tricky. With 3.6, you can only sync your calendar with one server. I'm not sure about 4.0, and I won't know until my work server is upgraded. With 4.0 you get a new service book (SYNC). So, it may be possible to sync with multiple BES's if they are both 4.0. Blackberry wireless sync heaven

Before you connect with the second desktop, make sure you change the default service book name on the first one from something other than 'Desktop'. I think it's on the advanced tab of the redirector.

Hope this helps,

Andy

I sync my calendar with my work 3.6 BES since I have Notes set to auto accept meeting invites. The appointments then show up in my calendar on my Blackberry. E-mail syncs with the appropriate server. The rest sync wirelessly with my personal Exchange BES .

As soon as my work server upgrades to 4.0, I'll see if I can wirelessly sync everything to both but I'm not holding my breath. It will probably work like calendar sync in 3.6. It would only sync with the last server that you connected to via the desktop.

FYI, this is only about wireless sync of everything other than e-mail. I could cradle sync everything flawlessly keeping Notes and Exchange completely up to date. I made these choices because I had to have my Notes calendar on my Blackberry 100% current.
