Hello, I was just made aware that all my phone calls and emails are being intercepted by a friend. How is this possible. Is a sim card reader being used. If so how do I stop this? Do I need to purchase a new sim card? Do I change the sim code on my phone? Is there a program on my phone I dont see that is allowing this person to hear me? I also have a metro pcs and they are able to intercept text and voice on that too. Can you help me?

That's not really possible without law enforcement-grade equipment, it's not legal, and anyone that would do that is not your friend.

As Verizon does not use SIM cards for their domestic service, you can only change devices. You really need to file a report with the police and let them handle it.

Picking up cell calls does indeed take law enforcement-grade gear but it's not impossible. As for emails we had previously associated berries before that retained the service books and kept receiving other people's mail on different accounts. FACT.

"Tin foil hats" is rightly in everyone's mind but imho better give the man some space to explain himself.

Emails would be simple, especially for personal email. Simply set up accounts on both devices. (I've tested by setting up my personal email on more than one device at the same time.) All they need is your email address and password. And frequently passwords are not that difficult to guess if you know the person.

Phone calls, I'm skeptical on but am interested in what the other person has said to make you believe this is happening.
