Default help error problem

Please Login to Remove!

My phone is blackberry 8700v pro. I updated yestarday phone firmware and when i enter calls log on my phone appears: uncaught exception: string index out of range: 0, and it stops responding. After reseting the phone it works normaly but if i push again on calls log,---same error. I tried to clean phone calls log from desktop manager, restore the backup and the error doesn't disappear. When i try to restore only phone call logs this message appear on desktop:
Error restoring database
"[Phone Call Logs]" 36 of 37 entries restored

Many thanks.

Sounds to me like the phone log data is corrupted such that it causes the OS to throw and error. And also the phone log data in the backup file. Right? You clear the phone log on the device and all is well. You restore the phone log and get the error again.

Do you really need to restore the phone log? What about clearning it and then going forward without restoring the backed up phone log, and see what happens?
