Default MSN Email not working anymore with T-Mobile and 7105T

Please Login to Remove!

I've had my new 7105T on T-Mobile for roughly 3 weeks. My MSN email (not worried aboue MSN IM for the purposes of this thread) worked at first. Then, I went on a trip to Baltimore and the email to that account quit working. It hasn't worked ever since. Other configured email accounts still worked.

Troubleshooting:

1. Called my local ISP (Qwest) as I purchased my MSN account through them. They essentially said they couldn't help because they don't support the Blackberry. They escalated to some level of support with MSN who said the same thing (but I wasn't permitted to speak to them.

2. I did notice that my mailbox crossed the 75% full mark during this timeframe and the Hotmail site (used for viewing MSN accounts too) showed the bar in red instead of green. Thinking this might be related, I deleted several emails with no benefit on the BB.

3. Called T-Mobile. They had me delete/recreate the accounts and they resent the service books. Same result. They said that they don't support MSN.

4. Sending emails to that account returns a fairly unhelpful "Unlisted message error"

5. I can still access that account via computer so the credentials are fine.

6. Sometimes a yahoo account just quits working as well.

If you happen to have any insights as to how to get this working, I would REALLY appreciate it as this particular MSN account is my primary email account.

The mobile.msn.com is my current substitute but it is WAY down my list when I need to go through all of the menus to reply to a message.

Thank you so much for your assistance!!!

I had T-Mobile and I don't believe MSN mail is supported. It is documented on their web site when you try and set up a email account for BIS.

Michael,

Thank you so much for your help!

I know that was a limitation in the past. However, now their interface DOES support MSN and two calls to tech support confirmed this as well.

By the way, other accounts I have with MSN still connect, just not the one that I need to use.

Has anyone resolved these errors before?

Angry

Any ideas on this one?

Qwest, MSN and T-Mobile Support have all been unable to fix this.

If it isn't inappropriate, I'm willing to offer a $10 Paypal payment to whomever can solve this for me!

I really need to get this fixed!

Thank you!!!

Wahoo! This is finally fixed!

Apparently, even though I'd deleted hundreds of messages out of my inbox, it wasn't enough. I ended up clearing my inbox completely and now my BB works with my MSN account.

Hopefully, this will help someone else.
