| This has been asked many, many times. This is why the search option is highlighted in red instead of white like all the other options.
This gets asked very often. For those of us who are here everyday, it get's repetitive. It's second behind "Why won't my BlackBerry work without a data plan?"
Please refrain from swearing and fighting on the forums.
I did a search for you, here is a link on the search: http://www.blackberryforums.com/sear...archid=8713317

| Both you you knock it off. (not you Noodle)
tjunior1, for unlocking we recommend our premium sponsor Horizon Wireless. Look in our sponsors section for the link. It is good forum netiquette to do some searching before posting. Your questions have been answered many times. If you spend a little time using the forum search function, you can probably find them. I am not familiar with Telus, so I can't answer your questions.

| To see if you need to unlock your phone, go to Options>Advanced>Sim Card. If it says "active at the top by SIM card security, then your device is locked. If it says disabled or inactive then it's already unlocked.
The link and information daphne provided you was very helpful if you need to unlock your phone. You can't do it yourself, you need to use a 3rd party service such as Horizon or your carrrier (as in the case of Tmobile) to help you unlock it.
Regarding the pay as you go services, I'm not sure because I don't use Telus and am not familiar with their plans. If this is truly an urgent matter as you claim, I think your best option is to give your carrier a call.
As for your behavior and attitude towards the other members of the forum, I hope that's something you'll consider working on improving. Unfortunately that's not something you can search for.

And lazy. By fully admitting that you refuse to search because it's easier for you do just ask questions and have others do your research is incredibly rude and and self-centered.
That's not what the forums are about. And posting with swear words is completely unacceptable.
Hopefully, if you want to continue as a member of the community, you will re-evaluate your approach. | | Offline

@tjunior - you are being exceptionally rude and lazy.
You're expecting everyone else to do YOUR work for you. What a childish behavior. As far as Ixxx8217;m concerned, you can just go away.

| This is what happens when children get BlackBerrys. Everything has been spoon fed to them their entire lives - yes, my kids included. Rather than look it up or do it themselves, they yell "MOM" or "DAD" and all of a sudden their every wish is taken care of.
A prime example.

| NJ don't worry. I think of it as job security for us baby boomers since the gen whatever-they-ares are too lazy to actually learn how to do things. We'll be able to work as long as we want without worrying about the youngsters taking our jobs away.

| I think I saw a block feature one time. I finally think I'm going to go find it and see what it does. No need to see the OP's posts anymore; would prefer to filter that one into the junk file.
EDIT: It was the ignore list that I remembered. Don't know if it will do what I want or not. But definitely the last time I'll open one this bozo's posts.
