Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

in the last couple of months I am invoiced on for RIM data on my black berry.
i never go on the internet with my BB, what RIM data extra fees are for?

It shows more than once a day, often, and it's like 0.12$ here, 0.25$ there, for about 30$ per month.

it also happens during the night...

Can someone help me?

thanks

It would help if you told us what device you have, instead of putting "world"

Have you called Bells customer service to inquire about why you are being billed? Are you subscribed to a data plan? Have you opted to block the internet if you are not? If your not subscribed to a data plan, are you aware that some companies charge pay per use rates for data? If you do not have a data plan, you may want to turn your data services to "OFF" through the phone settings.

We can't tell you why your being billed, we aren't your carrier, and we do not have access to your information. The best bet is to start by speaking with them.

How can I know the device I have?
it's a company BB where I use it for business mails (outlook). So do they have a data plan, I guess.
How can I block internet?

thanks

Options / About will tell you what model BB you have.

I have no idea how to answer your question. Many of us use our e-mail a lot...

Isn't $30 a month the blackberry data plan?
To use it on a BES, it must have a blackberry data plan.
(I thought the BEs plan was more though)

Now to ask my question again, we don't know what your bill looks like, have you spoken to Bell's customer service to find out what the charges are for?

If you are on BES, then technically you should be on a data plan, and technically you should not be charged anything additional, UNLESS you are going over that plan. I would ask for the charges to be reversed if you are subscribed to data and not going over.

I know Bell has a script they have to stick to, so outside of that script they can't do too much.

They do not think and speak freely, they only say what is scripted for them. You know, like a movie script? They are told what to say. A friend of mine that I work with, his dad worked for them and said that's why you don't get anywhere by talking to them. I've heard that from others as well.

BB Messenger uses data.
Email uses data.
Other IM programs us data.
Facebook uses data.
Your BB syncing your calendar with your BES uses data.
Just about everything on a BlackBerry uses data because that's what they're designed for.

What apps do you have running? Do you leave anything idling in the background?
