Default Pocketmac -- waaaay slow ?

Any other users of Pocketmac for Blackberry for syncing frustrated with how incredibly slow it is?

I came to BB from a Kyocera smartphone, which sync'd in about 3-4 minutes each time. Can'nt even tell you how long my Pocketmac syncs are, I usually get it started when I go to bed and hope that it's done by the time I wake up! No seriously, seems like it takes 30-40 minutes to sync up.

Any suggestions for speeding up?

- Andy

Something doesn't sound right? I use PocketMac as well and my usual sync is 3-5 min. maybe 5-10 if I'm tranferring a allot of calendar data. Are you syncing with Entourage or iCal and Address Book?

Entourage 2004. Yours goes in 3-4 minutes? Are you same, or iCal, etc.?

Address Book for contacts, Entourage for calendar, notes and tasks.

I have a large address book within Entourage ... and I'm pretty sure that's the segment of the sync that takes the longest -- it seems to be rechecking every single address.

Hmmm, maybe I should experiment with syncing without the address book/contacts, see if it's dramatically faster.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks --

Could always try a sync with Address Book to manage your cantacts and see if that solves the issue with the lag your having?
