That looks like the email w/attachment that RIM sends during the activation process. Are you using BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES)?

Have you tried to resend your service book and/or re-register the BB?

Make sure that you do not have the desktop redirector installed if you do not use it...that can give you that message. Also check to see if you have the Desktop CMIME in your service books...if so, delete it

You are probably on BIS and have installed Desktop manager configured to BES.

If this is the case, then you need to perform the following steps:

- Delete all "Desktop" service books in "Service Books" since they pertain to BES.
- Modify Desktop Manager to BIS on your desktop computer. This will prevent Desktop Manager from loading Desktop service books again.

~Cheers

Not sure you can Modify the DM, you may need to uninstall it and reinstall it as a BIS. You may also want to go to the webclient, verfiy your PIN is correct and resend your service books.

This etp message is what Re-director uses to send/recieve email through the Blackbery infastructure.
In order to modify DTM,
1) make sure you have the cd in your drive
2) go to add remove programs, and select BlackBerry desktop Manager
3) Select "add/remove"
4) select the Modify option that comes up after teh installshield wizard
5) you can run through any modify you like, but make sure you chose "install for BlackBerry web client" as opposed to Instal for bes or redirector.

Edit: You will know it was successful when you open DTM, and you do not have the Redirector Icon

Thanks
