Angry Device time & system time will not sync.

Please Login to Remove!

Help. I just ran this by Verizon and they gave up. It's not major, but it's annoying.

My 9630 is set to display system time. I thought, until this morning, that it was not actually picking up system time, even though the settings were adjusted to do so. My device and system time were 3 minutes off (the device + 3 mins). This morning the device updated to DST, but there is still a 3 minute time discrepancy.

Has anyone else encountered this?

DO you mean the time on the PC that you are syncing with?
Or, do you mean network time?

This may be what jbairdjr is onto, and if so, I suspect the same thing. I would doublecheck settings in desktop manager and make sure you haven't checked to box to sync device clock when connected.

I have my BB set to sync with network time, but every so often I would notice I would have to manually go in to update the network time. Thanks to this thread, I just checked my desktop manager settings and the box was checked to set the time at sync. I have now unchecked it so my time will no longer be off.
