Default help battery drain

Please Login to Remove!

Can someone help me. I own a bB 7250 and battery drains after 6 hours
I purchased three new batterries fully charged them, used them and same problem, battery won't last more than 5-6 hours.
I had the device replaced with another one, tried it out, the first day the battery last it 2 days straight then I charged the battery the following day the battery drained after 6 hours.
I have exhausted my verizon support, they can't help me anymore, they sent me a replacement, no such luck, i used 3 brand new batteries still no luck , drains quickly.
I do use IM service from handago and it is runnig all day however, I hardly use it so it is alway on standby and should not drain battery life.......

Thank you for your help

Do you keep it in the holster? Is the holster magnet shutting it off? Do you properly charge the battery (overnight), did you drain the battery completely the first 3 or 4 times?

Maybe before you post your first question, you should spend some time reading what is already here. Just within the last 3 weeks you can find the following by using the Search button:

Battery drain?

Turn off? Full Power Off?

Battey conditioning

7130e Battery Life

why does my battery die so quick?

Question for Mark Rejhon re: battery life

Default battery drain

hi,

yes i keep the bb in holster all the time, additionally i charge it overnight all night, I have drained the battery completely and charged it fully all three batteries that I carry around when I run out of battery during the day.

I dont use the holster that was provided by bb
I purchased a leather holster , could this be the cause??????
when i charge overnight, I turn off my bb and let it charge all night and verify that battery is 100% charged in morning when I turn it manually on.

when the bb is in my leather holster, i do see that it is on standby mode since the screen is blank as well. Should I only use the BB holster provided instead of using my own?

When you put it in the holster does it instantly go blank or does it take a minute? If it takes a minute, there either may not be a magnet or it isn't lined up correctly. Since the holster would be dark to the BB, it might be causing the panel to become bright until it goes blank which could use allot of extra power.
