Default Outlook 2003 Calendars and Blackberry's

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

(first time poster here)
We are starting to roll out Outlook 2003 to our corporate environment. A question has already risen that I believe I know the answer to, but would like to confirm this. Here is the question:

In the new version of Outlook 2003 you can create additional calendars such as a 'personal calendar' or a 'team calendar'. Do you know if you can access the newly created calendars via a Blackberry?

I know in Lotus Notes this is not possible. Thus, I believe it is not possible for Outlook. By the way we use 7290's.

Thanks,

Jim

You can access an additional calendar (though entries are all in the same calendar app as one's personal calendar) if you don't wirelessly sync the calendar. I believe the caveats are that it's one way (changes aren't synched back to the calendar on the server) and, of course, all entries from both calendars appear together since there's just the single calendar app on the handheld. I'm not 100% certain on all items above, but the short answer is yes.
