Default Stop BB Message forwarding to my email

Please Login to Remove!

My Blackberry Messages are automatically forwarded to my own email Inbox. I don't want this to happen; how can I turn off this auto-forwarding? (In fact, I can't recall entering an email address linked to BBM wheh I set it up...) Any help welcome. I am a BB Newbie!!

I assume you mean Blackberry Messenger?

In BBM, Options -> Show Conversations in Message List = No

Yess, BBM -- is that the same as "Show Changes in Messages Application"? That is the closest thing that shows, and there is a check box, not a Yesor No option. So presumably if I uncheck it, the forwarding of BBM Messages will stop.

I think so. Mine doesn't have that specific option (running BBM 4.7), but give it a try and see if that stops it.

Thanks - the funny thing is nowhere in any of the BBM documentation does it say that actual BBM messages can be automatically sent to an email -- just contacts and profile information changes. The only way to auto-save MMM messages by emailing them to an associated address that I have heard of is to subscribe to a third-party service, which I have not done.
Anyway, if unchecking that box does not work, I will de-register my email address from BBM, since I really have no need to automatic updating of contacts, etc. If that doesn't work then there really are gremlins at work!

Its not SENDING them to your email, its just SHOWING them in the MESSAGES folder.
MESSAGES is a CATCH ALL folder. Not just email.
