Cool Better use of a SD Card

Please Login to Remove!

Are there any plans to allow Storm 9530 devices to install apps and email on a SD card. It seems a waste to have a 16GB SD card only use it for pictures and music. My BB is a business tool and to be able to use the SD card and increase App Memory from 128 to whatever the SD card holds whole be a huge benefit considering that app memeory usuage usually is running below 20MB free. and yes I close all apps out so they are not running in the background.

Just my 2 cents
Thanks
Ben

Don't believe so.

The problem with that is the internal memory the phones have is much faster than the transfer speeds of microSD cards. So if RIM ever decides to do this, then they're going to have people complaining that apps and emails take too long to load.

It's also a security risk, one of the things BlackBerry is known for preventing.
