It looks like BlackBerry just recently updated their homepage. They have clearly divideded the site into corporate and individual consumer sections.

Indeed you can get directly to the retail site via the url discoverblackberry.com, had a quick look and it seems quite good, they have some useful set up info etc for new users!

I think (personally) flash has a place as a format for online cartoons and animations. I don't really like it for site design.
