Default File System Out of Resources

Please Login to Remove!

About half the time I try to take a picture, I get an error message that says "File system out of resources". I have a 4gb memory card in, all my photos have been moved onto the memory card out of device memory, and I only have the apps that came on the phone (facebook, twitter, flickr, blackberry app world, etc). I have gone to the options in the camera settings to make it so that photos are to be saved onto the memory card, but it doesn't seem like that's actually happening. I delete my emails and sms messages regularly and I've deleted the help app to try and free some space.

I have read other forum threads about this but I have yet to find anything that has worked for me. I went out and bought this memory card and it seems like it was a total waste because i'm not able to store anything!!

If anyone knows what I can do I would so appreciate it. Thanks!

What's your File Free?

Go to Options > Status to check.

Have you done a battery pull with the device turned on?

How much free device memory do you have? Some of the apps you currently have loaded on the phone are notorious for chewing away at device memory. Like Facebook, and appworld.

you say above that you moved all your photos to the memory card, so I don't understand.

And make sure the memory card is selected as the storage point for pictures. Open the camera and use the Menu key to select Options. You'll see a setting for where pics are stored.
